2018
Since its inception the team behind Catalytic Clothing continue to investigate the technical and funding partnerships required to advance the large scale data sets that are needed to determine efficacy, safety for any ultimate public use. At 2018 these discussions continue.

There is therefore no current activity of the project in the public domain, other than for exhibition purposes.

Herself. Generation 1. Sheffield
Sheffield

Herself, a highly experimental, “couture” textile sculpture was first shown in October 2010 in Howard Street, Sheffield in conjunction with The University of Sheffield and Sheffield City Council. Herself is generation 1 of a series of cultural interventions, which will form the start of this long term, pioneering project. Intended to illustrate in artistic form the idea that textiles can eliminate certain pollutants from the air so that we can breathe more beautifully.

Herself is potentially the world’s first air purifying dress.
